I appreciate Shabana Mir’s reflection regarding an imam attending the National Day of Prayer on Saturday, after the inauguration. Let’s be mindful of whether saying ‘yes’ allows us in a room or at a table where we and those we ‘represent’ are given the respect we deserve as integral human beings.
